Book of Life Sr. Technical Director Joe Kiser Chats with Digital Media Arts College Students

This Thursday, Digital Media Arts College of Boca Raton, FL alumnus Joe Kiser spoke with students about his experiences at the art school and what it is like to be the Sr.Technical Director at Reel Fx studios. "I don't like not knowing how to solve something. I knew I wanted to do 3D animation but it wasn't until my 3rd year at DMAC that I realized technical rigging and scripting was something that I stood out in.
Reel Fx, which produced The Book of Life, nominated for several Annie awards and a Golden Globe for best animated feature film, is working on a few new projects. Joe let the students know about the newest project, Rock Dog.

Valentine's Day at Digital Media Arts College in Boca Raton, Fl

South Florida's Digital Media Arts College students celebrated Valentine's Day a day early. The animation and graphic design school students put their art skills to the test, decorating love themed cookies. The event was held during lunch break in the lounge where art school students hang out. Graphic design undergraduates drew Valentine's themed caricatures of each other while sipping on 'love potion'.
